What is the Mass Rapid Transit?

The Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) is a planned three-line rapid rail that was launched by the government of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in June 2010 & became operational in December 2016 with the first line- Sungai Buloh-Kajang (SBK), now MRT Kajang Line.

The operations of KL MRT are being handled by the Mass Rapid Transit Corporation. The project was started as “Klang Valley Integrated Transportation System”, but now it is popular as “Klang Valley MRT”.

Train Lines of KL MRT
